Getting Started

What is iFlush? iFlush is an iPhone application that gives you a fun, unique way to express your opinion.
You can use the iFlush virtual toilet to flush away any image from your phone or the web. You can flush it yourself, share it with a friend, or post it to the web for maximum relief!
Do I need an iPhone to use iFlush? Yes, iFlush works only on the Apple iPhone and Apple iPod Touch.
Where do I get iFlush? iFlush is available on the Apple App Store under "iFlush - Public Utility". There are other similar applications out there, and prepare to be greatly disappointed if you select one that doesn't say "iFlush - Public Utility".
My question isn't listed here. Drop us a note using our contact page, or send a note to @iFlush on Twitter. We're following both, and will get back to you as soon as possible.

Using iFlush

Ha ha ha! Hey, that's not a question! Can't you be more serious?
Oh - wait. Never mind.
How do I add my own images to flush? You can quickly add pictures from your library, or snap a photo right in to iFlush. If you're browsing the web from your iPhone, touch any picture and hold. You can then save the image to your library, and add it to iFlush.
If a friend who also uses iFlush has sent you a particularly satisfying flush, just press the "lever" in the email to import into your own iFlush.
Can I flush using an (airplane) toilet? Um, no - but that's a good idea. If you've got other places you'd like to flush, drop us a note and we'll see about getting it into a future version.
How do I share a flush? From within iFlush, use "Flush a Friend" to email any flush of which you are particularly proud. Selecting "Public" adds the flush to your public flush log (see below). You can add it directly to your flush log from within iFlush as well (see Flush Logs below).
Do my friends need iFlush? Of course they do! We all need relief at times.
If you're asking if they need iFlush to send them a flush, well... no. They can see the flush image without iFlush. But to enjoy your flush as much as you do, and to and create flushes of their own, they'll need an iPhone and iFlush.
I'm having a problem with iFlush - what can I do? If you can't hear the flush, most likely it's because the volume is turned down or the "mute" switch on the side of the phone is on. If the program "hangs", you may need to reboot your iPhone with the big button on the bottom, or by pressing and holding the button at the top of the phone. This usually resolves the problem. If your problem persists, please drop us a note and we will look in to it.
